well last night i put my new valves on, hooked up my air line using compression fittings and moved my tank to the bulkhead of my bed. so i went on a test drive to drag my truck and to check out what i had done. so anyway im dragging my truck and decided to turn around and head home. well i turned around hit the throttle and all hell broke loose. i quickly found out that i forgot to bolt my tank back down. it had fallen through the hole in my bed and between the driveshaft and frame draggin the ground and ripping out one of my airlines which caused my truck to loose air pressure and drag the ground, it made for a nice spark show but the thing that sucked was it was 10:30 at night and i was stuck on the right of way in the middle of the road. thank god i still had my tools and some extra fittings in my truck from working on it just before all of this happened. i guess the moral of the story is to always double check your work and install CHECK VALVES on your system so you wont loose pressure and drop like i did.

Second that. You only learn the hard way once and then you start to think about all the safety shit. There about $12 each at Team Numatic for SMC. Limit straps might also be a good idea.

wouldnt need check valves if you bolted the tank down

lol. well i had it bolted down beforehand, i must have just hand tightend the nut and forgot about it. well the check valve would have stopped me from hitting the ground. life lessons learned, damn why do we alway have to do shit the hard way.
