sweet, i've been trying to talk my pops outa his ingersoll-rand...it's sitting in a barn with a tarp over it....never been used......

that compressor owns. I've got a 1980 Montgomery Ward model to work with. Runs the grinders ok, but absolutely no paint.

belt compressors are where its at. they are so nice to listen to...

i called my pop's yesterday & he said that he was going to let me hook up that ingersoll-rand @ my house... ...at least it won't be sitting in the barn collecting dust.. ..my 6hp craftsman just isn't cutting it (litterly) i turn it on, it builds up pressure, then i turn on my cut off tool to do some work on the frame after it spins around @ 2 times the compressor is running again... ... so if i can manage to dragg my a$$ outa bed a little early one day this week he said that he would help me get it to my house, then the rest would be up to me getting it hooked up, he said that he thought it might need a regulator......but hey a 60 or 80 gal 5 hp compressor for ~ !

I have a 26 gallon compressor my next purchase is a 8 foot metal break and bandsaw Im gonna buy all the tools before I move out of the rents house so when I get my house I dont have to worry bout buying tool and can just set up the garage and go to work !

good compressor i get to sell them sometimes... (I work at lowes).
