i found a guy down the road that has a set of ford 17" X 8.5 wheels, their lug pattern is 6 X 135. does this convert to 6X5.5? i looked on the internet and i see that 6X139.7 converts to 6x5.5 so i don't know if he just wasn't real sure on what the lug pattern is or what? he wants a hundred bucks for them so i need to find out quick so i can scoop them up. they are all chrome with the center caps. they kinda look like the pathfinder wheels.

these are what they look like and they are 17" X 7.5 not 8.5. found these on ebay for 200.

no they wont fit properly, the lug holes will line up but not center with the hole, and if u tighten them down the wheel wont sit center with the hub and will feel like u need a major balancing

For your chop top, are you gonna slant the windshield back and doorframes too, or get new glass made ?
I've seen it done on other trucks that way and it looks awesome!(street trucks tech?)
they cut out the frame around the back window and increased the angle of the a pillars.

planning on slanting it all back but i think i still have to get the glass cut. it is still a ways from getting done cause it is a daily driver right now, but as soon as i get a chance it will get done. i want to body drop it to the doors too. at a show called the texas heatwave last weekend there was a b2200 reg cab that was body dropped and top chopped. it was so bad ass. if you go to mindtometal.com it is one of their projects. that truck laid out sits just above my waist. but yeah i love the way it looks slanted back a little further. still have to do some more research on it before i get started.
