Body drop question

Does anyone know how much leg room is taken away when you body drop to the doors? I want to b.d. to the doors and chop the top but don't know if I will still be able to drive her after this is done. I am 5'10" tall so I am thinking that I will have to do some rethinking.

how about changing the frame, and floor pan instead? do you know what i mean by that?

not really. floor pan you mean just a sheet metal floor right?

yeah, I'm gonna sound old on this one, but in the old minitruckin days we were werkin with custom frames, and we would shape the floor around the framerails or go down the center with them along a widened tranny tunnel.
I guess a new twist on this is........

oh, o.k. i got ya. that makes sense. not a bad idea. i have never even been around whike someone was doing a b.d. so all i know are the things i've heard. i can't wait to get mine done! thanks for the help man.
