Parts Inventory

As much as we seem to be replacing parts on these old trucks,why doesnt someone with more computer skills that me start a location where we could list parts available,where they are located,contact info and price.Then instead of posting in Wanted, u could just browse the "Parts Bin" or whatever we call it ,and contact the member directly. <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_question.gif" alt=":?:" title="Question" /><!-- s:?: --> BJ

then our posts/day average would go down!!!

but i have thought about doing something like that. it owuld have to be more of a database format, but anyone could list on it. because it would get old real quick if every person like sent me their information and then i had to organize it everyday.
i had an idea also for a listing of sites, or shops for new parts, but i dont think we will be able to add something like that for a while.
Baha seems pretty busy still, so better features to the site will come soon.

Yes, it would be a database format with specific guidelines from u on a posting format and instructions on deleting items as they are sold so info is current.Not maintaining ur data =not being able to post.Just a thought,maybe 1 day.BJ
