my NEW project

hahaha Thought it was a mazda eh? well lookie what i picked up for free today - THought i'd make a thread about it .. I'm gona sander down and shoot some primer and black paint it -
MIGHT try and take the wheels off and get them clean up and repainted professionally - i don't want to do it my self it will come out shitty . This thing weighs a ton. i can't even lift it by my self - we used a floor jack to lift it up enough to get the truck hooked up .


needs:
new lights
fenders
tires :
coupler
jack stand.
Floor boards
some steel work - I wanta redo the railings .. i want to raise em up a bit and put maybe some 1/8 steel around the inside .. either that or take them off all together and make custom made sides and end piece out of wood . make it bout 5-6 ft high.. I don't know how long i'll be able to keep it here - My uncle is unpredictible - he could show up any time . This is a no-no in his book. ALTHO i do have a fair arguement theres like atleast 10 Trailers utilty and a pop up camper in here - i shouldn't be the only one to get rid of my joint . not fair - And i use it - why not? His reasons Would be You don't need it i want it outa here - Eh if i have to i've got 2 places i'm gona ask about putting my trailer once i can put a trailer lock on the coupler . until then its not going any where .i'll make sure of it i think. I could put it at the barn at my friends house .Or i may ask my aunts friend if i could put it at thier place . If all else fails i'll rent a storage space again. 42 A Month. it won't be in oxford thats damn sure . Its gona be 2mins from me with 24/7 access .WOO HOO.

What is my best option for getting the rust off - just use a course grit sand paper and a sander? what grits to start with and finish . this is all new to me - i never done any type of body work .I do want the trailer to come out looking good professional grade lookin from factory paint wise - i'd like it smooth to the touch if possible. I Was thinking about doing that under coating like they do for cars. The place i know of they don't do it any more cause they don't want to spend the money to fix thier machine .. idiots. What you think? I'd probably do that under coating before i go thru the hassle of the lights i want it neat and clean if possible.

Impossible to get all that rust off.. you will have to find something to go over it. It would take you years otherwise.

i would scuff it up a little bit, throw some rust inhibitor on it to stop it from rusting any more then go to pep boys and buy herculiner ( gineric rhino liner, ) but its some tuff shit, then you can coat the trailer with it and it will look better and be more durable

first thing mom does when she walked in the door.... she bitched about the trailer - Guess i have to find a place for it - And ahhh this weekend the dodge may be gone. Selling it . Possibly buying a 93 f150 .

ITS scrap metal - its actually not a mower - its a air rator (sp?) for golf courses . That bitch weights a good 100 pounds in itself. Going to scrap yard tommorrow hopefully get some decent money from all the scrap i have in the trailer and in the bed of the truck i 'd be happy with 40$ won't know til tommorrow.

well once again I get told - .
shit . the guy that runs the park where i live saw me with the trailer yesterday even talked to me not saying anything bout me keepin the trailer and what not ... Today he's cruisin thru my street (reason unknown) stops when he sees me out side and he says whatcha gona do with the trailer ? i said well i'll have to talk to my buddy in west grove see if i can put it behind his grandfathers barn - if not i'll need a couple days to get things squared money wise to get a out side storage .. I DON'T get it - how come i'm being bitched at . theres about 10 utility trailers in here besides mine - if mine goes then every damn one elses has to go too. thats bullshit . I'm gona make it known i'm not stupid i 've cruised thru this place and happen to find these trailers sitting in driveways and on the grass in misc - parts of this place . I HATE when ppl hate on me - i'm just a guy tryin to make some money and a trailer is what i need when i need to make some money.
