back to b's...

what up? i used to have a 1989 b2200, sold it, had a 85 s10 for a while... blew the head gasket, sold it, now i've moved to the northwest and i'm thinkin of gettin another b-series... its a 1987 b2000 cab plus... it has a new b22 engine, only has about 20k-30k on the engine, its the se-5 version... its lowered, ridin 15" american racing rims with negative offset, some low profile federal tires, has an aluminum camper shell, and a bedliner... its fully wired for amplifiers and subs... it comes with a b2200 parts truck too... they want 2500, that a good price?

sounds alright to me, but id offer em 2 and hustle em a bit

Think of your options :


1 does he have documents proving the new (or) rebuilt motor ?
2. does this motor have a warranty from whom ever they got the motor from?
3. do you have a place to put the parts truck if you bought said trucks ?
4. And do you think you can do anything with the parts truck or will it end up sitting in your driveway?


2,500 is a tad steep - but if the motor is really NEW then its a steal- but i'd only offer 2,200 max - but offer 2,000 first see if he takes it - if not go to 2,200$ . the guy would be stupid if he don't take it - its within the price he wants . remember everyone always marks their trucks up a little over what they really want cause they know they'll be haggled down. They do have a set price but like i said some price it 200-300 over what they really want - ..


i've bought a couple mazda's that way offering cash on the spot it all depends how bad they want to sell it and what they need the money for really .

hey man if either truck has a stamped tailgate in good shape and you don't want it hit me up. that is, if you buy it.

the deal is, the owner is in afghanistan right now. he had 3000 on it, but his wife didn't think it'd sell so she marked it to 2500 without him knowing. the engine i know is a b22 engine. i figure that if i did get both for 2500, sell the camper, rims/tires, bedliner... i could get 1000 out of all that, then use the stockers off the parts truck, paint 'em up nicely, then sell the parts truck later, make it to where i only paid about 1200 when i'm done... the most important thing about this truck, the reason i want it, is, ok, i'm 16, most people won't work payments, they are letting me do payments! i'm pretty sure i'll end up with it.
oh and maztang... the tailgate on the parts truck is stamped... i may use it but if not i'll hit you up...

sounds like a good deal....maybe a little steep on the $$ but not by much...is the parts truck fixable & have a title? if so that would be about
right on the $$ for two trucks......if not & it's just a parts truck only....then no more than 2k

both trucks have clean titles... the parts truck should be fixable but the engine is in the x cab...
