Fuel injected B's

What years came with? I would like my next one to have if possible and I have all winter to find one. Thanks.

my grandpa has a '92 B2200 SE-5 Ext cab with FI...and over 375 000km on the original engine.

I would assume most '91 and later models came with it as an option and 92-93 had it standard. That's an assumption,I have no clue though.

my 92 is not FI wise it was but none the less its not. best place to look for them would be in states and places that had lots of emmsion testing (Calf comes to mind) those states sometimes had state pacific models that had to have the FI were as states like TN was not so thay sent the cheaper to build non FI trucks there (not saying that there is none in those states) and the FI trucks to the states that had the strict emmsions.

Thanks for the info guys. I knew they were rare but it sounds like it will be harder to find than I originally thought. Most likely end up with annother carbed one but will keep my eyes open for a 92-93 to see if they were FI up here. Looked at a 91 today but it was rusted big time, carbed of course.

fi's came in 93 and 93, most of them with f.i. were sent to canada and the northern state that have cold winters so they can less problems starting in the winter, but they have seem to have scattered everywhere, in north amaerica, i remember reading this somewhere on the net it was a pretty good article

Must be right as my 92 2200 has everything but the kitchen sink on it,but is carbed not FI.It was bought new here in TN. BJ

lol,stupid winter. I wouldn't mind doing an FI swap in my truck,but that's like the last thing on my to do list.
