Hope they put a frame stiffener in it when they sawed the top off .Otherwise there wont be a straight body panel on it and the doors will start sagging.BJ

ugly...maybe it wasnt a cab plus

wow they do all that work and it looks retarded and they didnt even put a roll pan on it...the top looks like garbage, but they got the right idea with the roll hoops and the wind buffeting deely. But then,I never caught onto the idea of convertable trucks. They just don't have the body shape to pull it off.

I second that! I dont understand why anyone would do that?

theres lots of things peeps do to trucks that I just dont get and makes them much more retarded but I wont go into that I happen to like the Way thay did the top you dont have to worry about lugging a hard top around. and I think a Std cab looks far more retarded than that to me

if it was a reg cab that would be alright, but with the ext cab, the vert top just doesn't look right, should have just done a removeable hard top.....

hmmmm,
If ya decide to cut it off, throw it away and be done with it, cuz its usually garbage anyways.
That goes for a lot of things in life, LOL
It did have a roll bar in it so it may have been reinforced to handle not having a roof.
I'm gonna do that with my long box but the wind sheild is gonna get angled back a lot, and I think I'll do a unibody too.
I can make the body work for a roadster .
Have faith Mikey, I'll make it work, It will not be practical but it aint no daily driver!

haha,I can picture your idea, because in a recent issue of Sport Truck, there's an orange GMC std cab that's been turned into a roadster, with the winshield chopped and everything and it looks cool for what it is.

Oh well...I just hate when guys make Rangers into convertables....they look so unproportional.

Yet,we can look at a Cadillac from the 60s,with 4 doors with the top down and that's cool as f*ck,and it's gotta be as big as a Dodge crew cab longbox, lol.

I definetly wouldnt cut the top off my truck, but I'd chop it.
