Ever since I did a frame swap on my 89 b2200 single cab (old frame rotted) i noticed i had a bit of play in the steering wheel. I didnt have this problem with the steering components on my old frame and i am thinkin its something with the gear box. The new frame is from a 90' b2200. The truck also had a wheel alignment once the swap was complete but it didnt help. Any help would be appreciated

check and be sure that the steering box is securely mounted to the frame rail.I had a 2600 that the box worked its way loose and felt like the whole front end was loose.BJ

So i checked everything over and i am pretty sure its the steering box. I know there is an adjusting bolt on top but i am not too sure how it works.

undo the nut, hold it with a wrench and adjust the ceter screw part 1/4 turn at a time....tighte the exterior bolt and drive it again...do not overtighten the center bolt though or it will be tough to steer and wear out the box even quicker.
