where you at in asscrakistan?? i was in the paktika providence at orgun e and waza kwa fobs you anywhere by there and werent you just in kuwait last year?? i think you spend almost as much time deployed as i do im stuck up at al asaad iraq right now and i gotta tell you its pretty gay, but much better then the 12000 + elevation of afghan, the people in afghan are better though well keep your head up if i recall correctly your in the af whats your mos? im a grunt in the army

yeah i'm in ascrackistan right now. i'm at BAF doing the OPCEN thing (ready to shoot myself, lol). my unit has been dealing with the governor of the paktika providence to help clean the area out. last rotation i was in the south at kaf and i did resupply runs to geresk (sp?) and qulat (sp?) and other firebases. and on my 1st rotation to this country same place(kaf). i was in iraq when it kicked off but up north, like in the aera of irbel (sp?). but no i'm not in the air force i'm in the army. i'm in a sf unit. and as far as MOS as of right now i'm a s-1 guy (certified paper pusher) working a radio this rotation. i've never done my mos when i've been deployed and i'm glad for that. i'll be reuping here real shortly to change it to supply, so i can get promoted faster.

I have respect for you , but mostly its sad that you have to be deployed , I'll pray for you.

thanks man trust me man i'll be coming home. i have to work on my son's truck with him. it's driving me up the walls that i'm not home doing it right now. as far as being deployed it's becoming a home away from home. what's cool about my unit is that i know when i'm deploying again (like next nov i'll be right back here). it sucks during the christmas, birthday, etc times when you need family the most, but thank god for the internet and phones. all and all though it's cool my family knew how it was going to be and i did to before i singed. my wife and i were military brats so it was exspected. the other cool thing is i get payed extra while i'm here so life is a little easier in that aspect. once again though thanks for the support.
