Well Christmas came and went and the only automotive related part I got was a...
...heated steering wheel cover.
Which is useful, along with the heated seat cover I already have in the Rodeo.
Toolwise,I didn't get my mig welder or compressor, but I got a very nice set of Craftsman SAE and Metric combination wrenches and a that cool "Cold Heat" cordless soldering iron that they advertise on tv.
On the very bright side of things, the lack of getting anything I'd asked for was made up by recieving enough money from family members to order all the parts I need to lower my truck. YESSSSS!!!
I need $646 CDN for all my suspension bits, and I received $650 from my grandparents and uncle, and on Boxing day I have yet more family to see,so I think there might be another $50 to $100 in store for me.
This greatly helps me out, because I was planning that I was going to have to save up enough money to lower my truck, get new tires and brakes,AND still save up enough money for the trip to Florida I'm planning for this summer.
All in all, very good Christmas. Beautiful weather (no snow and mild!) and great dinner and spent all day with the family. Just a great feeling all over.
I hope everybody else's Christmas was great, and my thoughts go out to all the troops overseas.
