"Judge not, lest ye be judged." Problem with that is we all have prejudices-normal human behavior. We tend to put things in broad categories so we dont have to deal with every little piece of info individually. It is going to get worse not better cause most of us have info overload already.I see it every time my wife and I walk into a restaurant and are seated in the back somewhere cause we are "old".Problem is I have more disposable income than most people half my age and if rest.managers were smart, they would treat me like that.I get the last laugh, tho. When it happens I just get up and leave.Lol.BJ

In no way am I missing the point.
How you just translated, was how I saw it too.
It was an observation of the "human condition"

I took it a step further though, I have a hard time expressing my points when not in person, it just does not communicate very well to type it out.

I prefer to think that even on an individual basis we can make a difference in this regard. Not to be judging.
I am the guy who has always "stuck out " and chose to be different from everyone else. Weather its sports or mainstream music, styles or whatever. I generally do not like what is popular. I am used to the glares and predjudice. Group A judges me in the morning, and group B judges me at night, there is some depth for ya.
What I mean is some people may look at what I drive and shake their heads, but then a group of minitruckers might see me go to church and think poorly of me as well.

People Judging me is something I cannot really care about cuz I can't control, it. Knowing that I do my best to treat all people the same, I can only fight prejudice with kindness, and patience.

They would be judging you in this case because instead of asking, they assume you want to be away from the noise of the main area?
For me, its those little individual pieces of info that are facinating, and make me want to get to know others.
I was taught to respect and honor my elders. Age is not a fair indication of how you choose to live, its too bad you are treated that way, My stepfather is 82 and he has more energy than me, but I turn off the punk music when he visits. But I know he would appreciate that.

I guess we both had the same point just diffrent exsplanations, great minds think alike.

I like most of you dont care how Im judged. Im mean im probaly the only mini trucker whos a vegan and a avid animal activist. I saw it first hand just the other day, I had been conversating with the group out here in washington that was big in the animal rights, so they asked if I could come down and do a brief on puppy mills, wich is my specility , mind you I had never face to face met with anyone from this group, so I got out of my explorer (lowerd, guide coated, pich black windows, etc) with my khakis and polo shirt showing my nice tatooes on my arms, shaved head, and the 510' 240 body building frame and I was asked what I was doing here, when I told them who I was there first words from the lady were " Your kidden right, your a animals rights activist" so I shrugged it off and as I took the stares as I walked into the room were I was teaching the awarness class I could see the eyes of disbalief. But in the end I was not there for them to judge me but to teach them, the stand up appluads at the end and the thank yous were more than worth it, and I hoped they learned two things that night animal abuse and pre judging.

Ive been told I look more like a steak eating, beer drinking trucker, than a spiitualy animal loving vegan, but hey we are what we are.

I guess the other point is that Bsceners,by the very nature of the lifestyle we lead are a little different by definition and so are(or should be) more tolerant.I hope so cause u r the guys that are gonna be runnin this show someday and I hope u do a better job than us old farts have done cause we have screwed up a bunch of stuff by NOT being more tolerant.BJ
