I finally got my truck back today. I put my pathfinder rims on and it looks pretty now. I got a little bit of the tick so I wanna put some seafoam in. How does it work, pour it in and run it or then drain or what?

I'll post some pics in the other section tomorrow once it's sunny outside again. Later tonight I'm gonna order my grill to make the front look pretty. I'll post a night pic tonight.

Mine has a rebuilt engine and a ported and polished head. I have like 8000 miles on the engine and it still has a little tick.

I would just run your regular oil and put in a bottle of Lucas oil treatment at every oil change. I run 10w30 and a bottle of Lucas all the time.

If u r going to run Seafoam, put 1/2 can in ur oil,1/4 can in the tank, run the truck about 500 miles, change the oil and put the last 1/4 can in the tank.I run 1/4 can in my tank all the time and it seems to keep things nice and clean re the fuel system. If I get a tick I just put a 1/4 can in the oil and it keeps the lifters clean.BJ

I get r good with seafoam . I buy 2 cans - and use 2/3 in the oil - 2/3 in the tank (1/2 full) and th4e other 2/3 I put into the brake booster Vaccume hose. slowly pour it in as the truck is running and the Vac sucks it into the upper cylenders. shut it off for and hour to overnight. Start it up the next day and watch it smoke out the neighbourhood. Burns out alot of the carbon build up.
