Visual inspection

So I just figured out the emissions place here has visual inspection! I'm freakin' out! I'm disturbed at the fact I spent my money for a weber! I got to thinkin', you think if I remove all my emissions crap they'll think its a stock carb? Lol! I need to cheat them somehow? Bastards! I know I got an engine that is emissions cleaner than most!

Yeah.Last time I got the 2200 inspected there was this cute young lady doing the checkin.Passed emissions with no problem then she lifted the hood.She gave me this big smile,closed the hood and said "nice truck".LMAO.I guess it was just my manly man old fart charm.He-he.BJ

if you can go to a place where you know somebody...or i find 100dollar bill comes in handy up here in canada..well safties anyways....emmisions are tricky up here the only way to cheat them here is to put another 4 cylinder truck on there and get the operator to enter your vin number instead...just a thought

Lol, from what my dad told me, he said you don't even get to be anywhere the tech. or your truck when they pull it in. You sit in a room and wait for them to do their stuff!

He also said that if I do my exhaust and get it to dump at the back of the cab because of future bag plans, they won't be able to access the exhaust and I'll fail!

So guess what my bro does? He registers his vehicle out of city and gets farm tabs! I guess I'll have to do that instead... Hell, I pay more to do that then the emissions!

when i lived in nashville they did the same thing, but all they did was run a mirror on a stick uder your car and look for a convertor and as long as the check engine light wasn't on they didn't bother with any thing else.go there right before lunch or right before closing or when the line is long and there rushing people through. the exhaust on my mustang doesnt come out from under the car any more so they plugged some machine into the diagnostic port and it checked my o2 sensors but i have MIL eliminators so it gave them nothing and i passed.
