I spotted this Mazda at the local used dealership yesterday.
Grey interior with a bench seat. Int. is very clean. Has a glass sunroof too,which is pretty sweet & a sliding rear window. The front half of the truck looks pretty clean,but when you see the pics,it's been rear ended. The bed WAS in good shape. There is NO rust on the bed floor or the wheel wells,and it's a shame that the bed is all fuckulated now. Underside of the truck is dirty,so can't really tell about the rust situation,but it looks pretty clean.
Dealer is asking $1200,selling it as is. Now,IMO,1200 is just insane for a vehicle that badly damaged. I could try and jew them down on the price saying how much repair work it needs and that the frame could be bent or twisted and who knows what else got screwed up in the accident. I'm quite interested in this truck for 2 reasons. 1,I could buy it,fix it and I have a nice little daily driver/winter beater,or 2,take what I want from it and then part it out. If the truck was not damanged,1200 would be a great price. I paid $1800 for mine,which is an '89,had 128k on it and I bought it certified. If I can jew them down a couple hundred bucks under $1000 taxes in,I might go for it.
How much do you think I should jew them down to? I'm leaving shortly to go look at it again.

frames looks like it's messed up but I could be wrong I'd tell thbem I would give them $700.00 and you would pay the taxes at the mto office if you decide to put it on the road as the truck is selling as is .

I went back and looked it over real good. Nobody was at the office and I called the number several times to no avail of reaching anyone. I got right under the truck,and the frame rails are not bent or twisted,but the back of the bed is pushed into the back of the frame. So really,the damage looks much worse than it is. The bed is not pushed forward either. Really,all it needs is a new bad and you're rockin.
I'm gonna keep calling and try and get a hold of someone. Seems kind of like a shady dealership cuz they're never around and a note on the window says to call the number and it forwards to their cellphone and they come and meet you or set up an appointment...

Not to jack your thread but I was wondering how you guys think this truck is worth? It has no motor though
Mikey if all it needs is a box and it runs then i would try 700 too....Im sure you and v8mazda should be able to get ahold of a box

Watt is that bad boy yours and were is it that thing is worth some bucks with a mint 4x4 box, fenders and hood.Is there any damage at all to the body.

Its not mine yet....well maybe....im thinking of picking it up but i am kinda poor right now and i need tires bad....it is in crystal river FL about 6-7 miles from my house i found it on the infamous Craigslist....hes askin 400 i havent seen it in person but in a couple weeks if he still has it i might get it...im only going static on my truck but i figured why not run that sweet hood and 4x4 sheetmetal....i could use the dash too mine is all cracked but florida heat sucks...but better then snow i guess

grab that truck and say screw the tires thats a steal for $400.00 and if you have a regular ceb put the box on to and if you don't cut just behind both cabs and weld that frame onto your truck and use that 4x4 box too. I got my 4x4 box for $800.00 and it came from texas so BUY THE TRUCK ...........
