I am about to hook my az up and in alot of the diagrams it calls for a 70 am fuse, i am running the 80 am solenoid, is that what everyone else is using or can i get a different size?? Asking because everyone and their dog has 60 amp available. Thanks

I just used a Ford starter solenoid from a 67 Mustang. Small and compact and $15 at the auto store. Works pretty good.

i am sorry i should be more specific, i am asking about the fuse size more than anything, would a 60 work ok or should i go with a 70.

What's wrong with the 80 amp solenoid you have?

Just run the 80 amp soleniod you have. That will work great for an az

Don't know if you got the AZ new or not, but most of the new ones come with a 40 amp circuit breaker. If you didn't get the 40 amp breaker (fuse), I would recommend running a 40 to 50 amp fuse for each AZ. As far as a solenoid goes, anything over a 40 amp rating will work fine for 1 AZ.
