FBI has a 6" notch kit and a 10" notch kit. How do I determine which one to get?

When you lay your truck, is the rear determined how it sits by the notches laying on the axle?

all depend on whats size wheels youre going to be running, in reality 6 is huge and 10 is gigantic, with a 4" notch you can lay on 18"s with lo pro tires.... a lot of people go with a huge one because they dont know any better, it looks so stupid when your laid out and you have a 5" gap between your axle and your notch, forst decide what rims your runnin

Aye, well I bought ther 6" notches today and my shock relocator kit and 4-link kit.

All though, on a side note, I would like to ask this question instead of making a new thread.

For FBI's 4-link kit, they said you cannot put the bags on bars. Why is that? If I can't is there anyway I can still make it bags-on-bars without changing the link system?

HeX0rz can you put up pics of the 4 link. The only reason they might be saying that is because your bars are all round tubing and they can bend with the force you will be putting them through but you can under brace them for support S/D have some sweet under bar braces that would work mint.

Yea FBI says that because their bars are pretty small, especially compared to SD's bars, so they will probably have the chance of bending. SD's link bar braces might work to keep them from bending but I'm not sure.

My buddy and I just put a fbi 4 link in with the bags on the bars and the sd bar gussets underneath. Seems to be plenty strong. Ill try to get some pictures up today if you want.

hexorz what size tubing is your FBI linkbar? if its .120 wall i wouldn't risk it, .188 with an undergusset unit would probably be cool, i doubt they used .250 wall but that'd be cool too with an undergusset.
also how long are your link bars, and where do you wanna put the bag? the farther foreward the bag is the more stress it'll put on the bar.
