Good News...

For anyone who dont no the story. I will give cliff notes.

One of my good buddys was hit and killed by a drunk driver last July. The man that hit him was sentenced today to 22 years, we sat in the court room and it was such a awkward feeling. He tryed to plea for 10 years but the judge wasnt haveing it. So he is being put away for a good while. On a side note this man is 47 years old.

Freddy was a great man, taught me alot. His humor was so unique and blunt. He was a soon to be father, a husband and just a great guy overall.

For some of you who dont know him, this is what he was known for in the minitruck world.

its sad that the drunk always lives and ruins the life of an innocent family but at least he gets to sit in jail and think about it, that doesn't happen nearly enough.

Atleast you know he won't be able to hurt anyone else. sorry for your loss but he did awsome work be proud that you had him as a friend.

im sorry man, i lost a friend last year to drunk driving and it hurts, he was just turning his life around too, and im sorry your friend passed, i wish his family the best of luck in life, my prayers are with his family and you man, thank god he got caught and sentenced.

If he was 47 he definatly should know better than any younger person. I've got a friend that was in a comma for 14 months after getting T-boned by a drunk driver. He was in his '68 mustang that we all helped to build. The other guy was never caught. The camera at the intersection showed it all, Luis had the green light and a late model black dodge ram just plowed him and then took off. Police said he was going at least 60 (in like a 25 or 25 zone) downtown Oklahoma City. I think it's awsome when jail time happens when innocent people are hurt/killed.

Man I am sorry for your loss and glad to see justice being served. My wife and I lost a real good friend becuse of an @sshole not too long ago. She was in AR picking up her wedding dress when the doushe bag decided to run from a cop...who wasnt even going after him... and blew through a red light at like 80mph. T-boned her. And as they say the rest is history. Fortunetly the guy had a record and got charged with 1st degree Manslaugther and like 60 years I think. Anyways keep his memory and spirit alive.
