well, my fist love died saturday night as i was cruisin around town. i noticed my temp guage was high so i decided to head home. as i was driving down the highway, it started smoking really bad and died so i pulled over, i sat there for a lil bit and noticed the smoke jus kept comin and that there was more of it as time went on, i got out and saw the flames. yep, it burned but i called the police and the fire dept got there really quick and was able to save the truck except for the everything in the engine bay. so luckily my interior and my whole bag setup are safe(even the front bags). im now on the look out for a new mazda and will come back better and crazier. plans for the rear are now in progress

WOW! Well that certainly does suck, my friend! Although from the description of it, I think you could have prevented it!

The very moment you saw the temp guage too high, you should have pulled over right then!

I wonder why it overheated though? Last time mine did, a little coolant line under the intake manifold was really old and it was leaking slowly. I was driving on a highway for about an hour and a half. Once I got to my destination it was overheating.

Come to find out, the coolant line leaked out ALL of my radiator fluid the whole 75 miles!

Crazy days...
