So I've had this 54 F100 since I was about 14. I originally had two, but some shady stuff went down and I was left with a littles less than one. Basically I have all the sheetmetal minus bedsides. Both frames gone, but I planned on building a frame from scratch anyway. So I was playing with photoshop just now and came up with this.

If you don't own one of these, or like them a lot you'll probably miss a lot of the modifications.

And I'm not sure on the color, its what the picture had to start with, but I kind of like it. But I do know I want a cream grille, and wheels and likely most of the interior as well, with a green exterior. Just not sure on the shade, maybe some light flake. But I want something understated, that will catch the eye of an Effie owner and pull them in, but appear stock to the average eye.

In the end it will be about 9-10 inches shorter than a stock laid out truck, height wise and 4-5 inches length wise.

I probably will have something on the door too. Either my shop logo or the logo of my dads candy shoppe. And I want to incorporate little stuff from my bike building experience in it. Most of that will be in the interior and engine bay though.

What do you guys think?

danm dude I like it the gas filler is sweet low I have a 53 studabaker that I would love to start on but I guess I will have to finish some other projects first.I want to try and keep the outside as stock as possible and do some real nice retro interior, plus i have like 2 more 350's available to me so atleast she will have a chevy under the hood. I like the idea of the candy shoppe logo on the truck that would be different than having your own business on the door.

Like I said, if you don't own one, you might miss some of the mods. The running boards aren't just, taken off. There will be a lot of sectioning and pie cutting to make it fit the way it looks there, and drop the truck a good 6 inches from a stock laid out truck. Plus chop.

Also thats an F-1.

I really like it, looks pretty cool. I always wanted one of those body style fords, but then I saw my fathers sweptline 67 dodge truck, and I would love to have one of those to bag.

A friend of mine has about a 1/3 of a 54 ford. Its just the front half of the frame, The cab floor and the firewall forward. We found it while clearing brush behind his barn. I'm definatly forwarding this link to him. Twisted I like it without running boards. Go for it!
