I've got about another $800 left to invest in my whole baggin' spiel, and I would just like to say some things!
I want to put in parts as I go. Can I not? I know to a certain degree everything has to be there to put it all together.
The thing is, there is more to just slappin things on and weldin' 'em in! There is a procedure to it, and it takes that finesse to make things work right in sync.
It all compels me to create a whole techie on bagging. A dedicated techie that goes on in FULL detail to everything that is required to do such a task!
Drawback is, I know alot, but I sure don't know enough! It would be my first time, and its a dangerous thing to listen to and follow a village idiot!
Is there anyone who is experienced in baggin' so well that they can cover all aspects of this project so that maybe us novices can have a guide to follow and understand?
It would definitely take time to compile and all, but it is so worth it!
-Positioning of the 4-link
-Adjusting it right
-Knowing the right pinion angle
-Laying frame with a rim and achieving near-perfect alignment
-Measuring clearance and positioning of parts, etc.
These are what seems to be the unspoken things that I don't see everyday that are accounted for in a bag setup!
I want to put the notches on my truck, but I also want to have 18's sometime and lay frame. But I only have 14's on right now. Measuring the clearance of how to put on the step notch so it does'nt hit the axle housing takes time to think about. I would think so atleast...
Just an example... Anyways, if theres anyone out there, speak up and tell us all how to become the DIY'er!
I'd like to know how to also do reverse c-notch if possible?
