So I just got off the phone with Seth, and he is having major over heating problems, He was pulled off the side of the road. anyway He and a bunch of other mini truckers were all cruisin to drop zone together and I always thought no matter what you help a mini trucker in need... well He said pretty much all the other guys just kept going, in my eyes leaving him stranded which I think is B/S. now I dnt know for sure everything but what i get from it is they all left him. I told him to come down to me (im 30min from him) and i will use the few tools of my dads i have here to help him out as much as i can, and i told him worse case stay the night here and head up with me tomorrow. and fix your truck when we get back. so we shall see what happens, just had to let you guys know whats happening.

HAHAHA everyone has said that, no way would i do that gives the coolant no time to cool down, we just replaced it, im assuming it works cuz he hasn been back yet, but for sure i agree never leave anyone behind, i dont care what its about!!

no time for it to cool down? It takes longer to get heat in the winter without the thermostat. And in summer it helps because there is no restriction there so all the water your pump can move is constantly flowing thru the rad. It's good he got a new one installed tho because he won't have mess with it again.

yea no time to cool down with a constant flow it just keeps cycling through and getting hotter and hotter the thermostat is there to restrict the flow that way the fluid can stay in the radiator longer to allow air to flow through the cooling cores in the radiator... thus allowing for cooler fluid flowing through the engine.... went to school for all this.... but yes much better that its done now, so far hasnt overheated again. we shall see if i get a phone call lol.
