start a a slow speed and light pressure... ive done it before (detailer @ a ford dealership) i used the poishing compound we had there later i used the stuff meguairs makes with great results... just remember slow and light you dont wanna burn them

so just use the same pad that i would on wax. and then my liquid compound. slow and light pressure.

yeah ... take it slow and you should see a big change if there really really bad you can wet sand them with a rea fine grit wet sand paper and buff them then but doing that you have to be really really careful

Take 1500 and 2000 grit sandpaper and wet the lenses and the paper and wetsand the lenses. They will go all milky and filmy and look nasty while you're sanding, but after a few minutes, stop and wipe it all off and dry them, and then get some wax or polish and rub it all over the lenses and they should come out like new.

This was a common problem on my Ford Contours, with the headlight lenses yellowing and going hazy over time,so I learned this little trick that works wonders from Contour.org.

yes, toothpaste works too,but you still have to wax it after. Waxing/polishing is the key to them staying clear.
