I have never heard of the "Magnum" FE motor but if that valve cover fits on our engines then ours must fit on it and ours are cheaper. seams to me like your paying for the word "Magnum" at about fifty bucks a letter!! lol

Its damn expensive i bid on it so many times until i got tired of bidding, since i wasnt the higher bidder and decided to ask a few of u guys if you could let me know if its worth the money to get. And whats the difference, it still will fit on any kind of Mazda b2200 or b2000 motor am i right. And as i read it, it came clear saying that it no longer exists is this true.

magnum 4S. Rather known as M4S engine. VERY rare. Actually, I dont know shit about them bein in our trucks, but, I know it produced well over 225 hp, and was in the Dodge M4S Cars, which only 5 were produced (sure Jay Leno has 2) and was used in the movie.....Wraith.

4 cyl, Forced Induction.

Magnums were 2000cc Maz motors produced in limited numbers in 1986-87. 8.5:1 domed pistons, solid lifters, different cams. They were put in B2000 trucks in Japan,Australia, etc, but not sent to US0fA because they would not meet pollution standards. Not sure about them ever being in a Dodge,I think that was a Chrysler version of the Magnum engine. The only way to know if it was a Magnum was to look at the pistons and of course that valve cover. They didnt make 200+ hp either, only about 115.BJ

Still if you are going to waste that kind of monies on a valve cover just for the word magnum you need to shack your head as I can get alot more stuff for my truck like 8 valves a tank and gauges for what that bid is at or 2 380 comps and still have some change.

Definately not the same as the M4S engine then, lol. I thought the M4S was the only magnum 4 banger.

Different strokes for different folks-some of us arent into dropping and dragging. Some are into having as much hp as we can wring out of a small engine, nice interiors,a streetable truck that rides good, lots of accessories and one off stuff. We just have different ways of spending our money on these old trucks.Oh,and by the way, when I win that Magnum valve cover,I will try and get a pic posted.I will work on getting my head checked though at my age it is probably Alzheimers.Lol.BJ
