Im going to be building a Tiny Storage area outside for my truck this winter... And i wanted to know what i should do with my truck, Remove anything from my System? Have it Aired UP all winter? or Laid out all winter?

I'll be build a decent size storage place for it as soon as i get my truck back. i havent come up with the dimensions yet. but its going to look like a Mini Garage, only totaling the height of just over 6ft', maybe less...and corresponding width (approx 6ft') and length (approx 10-12ft').

haha it wont stay aired up all winter man, but its up to you what you wanna do to it, unless you have a water trap i wouldnt run the compressors, and leaving it down is fine... doesnt hurt anything, i would leave mine down

i second leaving air out and make sure you have a cement floor rather then a dirt floor too if possible

I would put would blocks between the control arms and on top of you axle so there is no stress on the bags

hmm....

v8 will measure correctly so no stress should be put on the bags, but yes cement is better, no moisture rotting bags cuz if they arent being used then they will rot...... putting blocks isnt a bad idea though

Don't forget to put fuel stabilizer in your tank.

My truck sat for 6 months without being started with a quarter tank of gas in it,with fuel stabilizer in it as well, and to start it for the first time,I just poured gas in the carb and turned the key and it fired right up and ran mint.

You don't want your fuel system gumming up on you.

okay you guys done.LOL First find patio stones and make the floor of your storage out of them second for the air ride just pull the drain plug out and leave it alone for the winter there will be no stress on the bags when the truck is layed out, yes use a good stabilizer in your gas and if you have some old crap tires put them on the truck and put your good tires and rims somewhere nice and dry lay them on some thing than cemet as they will the rubber dry rot. One other thing take moth balls and throw them all around the truck it will keep most animals away. Make sure that you brush off your roof of the storage shed once and awhile and don't run the system until you are ready in the spring when you are going tobe driving again. Oh ya take your battey out and put it up off the ground some where and mayge find some kinda charging unit on it that will keep it fully charged.

long as the battery isnt on cement or moist ground it should maintain a charge
