So over the weekend I made it down to London,Ontario for the Canadian Truck Nationals show.
The event was severely rained out most of the day on Saturday, but Sunday made up for Saturday. Beautiful clear skies and hot. Couldn't have asked for a better day.
Anyways, this was only the 2nd show I've entered my truck in,with the first one being Scrape By The Lake last weekend.
On Sunday they had lowest truck competitions for assisted and unassisted. There were about 6 or 7 trucks entered for lowest unassissted, which was pretty much every static mini there,'cause everything else was bagged.
I walked out of there with 2nd place in the lowest unassisted catergory. I think I should have won,but I was beaten by a '90 Hardbody that had a Stillen bodykit and some 14 or 15" rims, and I think the difference in how low he was compared to me was microscopic because it didn't look any lower than my truck. I think why I lost is that his truck sat even, while my front is lower than the back and they were measuring from the frame.
But still,I thought that was pretty cool, only going to my second show with this thing and getting 2nd place in a lowest truck competition.
There were only 4 mazdas at the show including mine,so I was representing the Mazda crew & Bscene together! w00t!
Here's a sexy pic, lol. Pretty low for static on 17s. It's low enough I drag on curbs, speedbumps and stuff, plus I bottom out pretty easily in the back. I think I have like half an inch of travel in the back.lol
"Wooo I won!!!....kind of! Yeahhhhh!" LOL
