dunno if you can use AN fittings for copper or not, but you can do stainless hardline with AN fittings. spendy but wicked cool...

well sport truck mag just did an article about how to run copper line but the used push-in fittings. Those tend to leak so i was wondering if the regular compression fitting for plastic DOT line work for the copper

Use the right fittings...you can buy compressions, DOT that are designed specifically for copper line with the proper ferrule, and everything. Acklands sells em, and you can use the home depot ones, but they are not DOT and they do tend to leak. If you have any more q's let me know, I have been using copper as airline for years.

STAY AWAY FROM HOME DEPOT FITTINGS

Check out this link:

I watched a fitting bust on a buddy of mine on the highway. Not cool.

Heres a pic of the setup on the daughters truck. All fittings soldered except for 1 compression fitting at each bag. Have left system aired up for over 2 weeks, no leaks.
