Whats the biggest air tank I can fit between the frame rails?

well you can do max a 8 gal or 5 gal slim they fit mint between the frame but there are smaller ones I haven't tryed the 12 gal but it is 44 inches long so I think that would be just a little to much but the 8 or 5 will work.

You can do like I doand just make tanks... then you can build them any dimension you want...

I stuck a slim 5 between the framerails of the Mazda I bagged. Was the perfect width, and a good space saver.

Lol, well FBI has a 8.5! It says its 32 1/2 L. I suppose I should have asked what is the inside dimension between the frame rail, lol.

Yea, I know, I'll just get under my truck and measure...

I have 2 380's for compressors, how would that do on a 5 gal? 8 gal?

I know I'm gonna wanna play with it, lol.

EDIT: Just called FBI and they said that their 7 gal will fit. Although it is not 8 port! Any way I can do my 2 compressors on it still? Cause I need to have a drain petcock as well, you know?

ALSO, lol, one more thing, I'm going to buy their fitting kit, but I dunno if I need to buy the gauge fitting kit as well?

Lol, thread starting to turn generic.

It was cheaper for me to build them than to buy them...9" asme pipe, 3/4 end plates with 3/4 npt fittings....I made 3 yanks for a total of 12 gallons for less than 100 bucks.

show some pics of the tanks and the 8.5 gal tank I believe is the same one I am putting in madmazda's truck and it fits between the rails fine.
