haven't heard from you in a while bro. how is the truck coming? and the new job? i am ready to see a video of that mazdawg doing 10 sec. in the 1/4 mile.

damn, I was trolling thru the posts & what did i find......

wasn't much progress on the truck while i was out of town working, but i'm back home now, and (fingers crossed) i may be able to get the axles back in, hubs on, new wheels on, and get it back on the ground off of the jack stands.....the motor is supposed to be getting built finally, so in a couple weeks i should have it home, but will be a minute before i'm ready to put it in the truck....

Yeah and when u get through fartin around with that damn truck,u need to come to ChattTown and help me get this KZ1000 basket case I got back together.I would like to ride it at least once before I get too old.I MAY PUT IT IN MY WILL ALONG WITH MY dAWG FOR U AS WELL.lOL.bj

nice man. there was another guy on here a little while back that claimed to have 10 grand tied up in his 2.2. i would like to see it go down the strip as well. it's good to hear that your engine will be done soon though.

$10k? I have like 3000 into my engine and it's still like 100hp,lol. But it is pretty quick for a B.

H-M-M.If Paeco will build u a full out 2200 motor for 6800 that is guaranteed to put out 220 hp and give u a years warranty,the only way u could get 10 k in a motor is to use 100 bills for valve seals and gold plate ur a--hole.I too would love to see this 10k motor do a 1/4 mile.I got about 2500 max in mine and it only puts out like 120 hp + or- a bit and I thought I had blown a lot of money.BJ

maztang, @10k, you & me both would like to see it go down the strip, or at least a dyno sheet.....heck i'd like to see a pic of a 10k 4 cyl!with all this talk of 10k makes me wonder how he figures that, is that just what is in the motor itself, or all the other accessories that make it run.

with some quick figuring, engine alone, not built, I'll have close to 4k, built it will run close to 6k, and with everything to make it run (exhaust, fuel sys, ignition sys, etc, etc) i'll have close to the 10k mark myself , but i am replacing virtually everything that makes it go

so I guess I won't need a picture, and once running, I'll provide a dyno sheet & a time slip from our 1/8 mile track here in huntsville.

I did and actually ur head is on my truck and my head is sittin in my storage house.I think that is how I got a few extra ponies (or would that be punys?)out of mine.Lol.I actually drove it this past week-end and was gettin tire chirp Low to 2nd at about 4500 rpm so it seems to be runnin better the more I drive it.I still dont have a lot of top end (90-95 is about it) but it sure do get there much quicker.BJ
