Got a speeding ticket...

I got a speeding ticket today. I was dirving my '84 Sundowner going 75mph in a 40 on Sunnyside. The officer only quoted 64mph though. Anyways, I have to pay 237 fucking dollars. Is that bull shit or what? My record was clean until now. The officer said I could of killed someone...THE ROAD WAS EMPTY! I loathe cops entirly. Anybody else have lame experiences like this?

Dude that sucks! thats a lot of money to be paying for a ticket. so far, I am four years clean with no tickets or accidents...

yah dont' feel bad i got a ticket for going 5 over on a empty dirt road on the back side of the lake what kind of crap is that and it was like 150 something

that sux....about 2 yrs ago i got a $160 ticket for going like 58 in a 40...never paid off the ticket so my license was suspended, got pulled over while driving with a suspended license. that ticket was like another $150...finally paid off the tickets, but never went to the driving school....i am now stuck with 7 points on my license

OK #1 were you speeding ??? if yes then suck it up and pay yer ticket, you rolled the dice and lost. Nuff said.

I used to get tickets alot when I used to speed. I calmed down in my driving after I got to be about 24 and have been a safe driver ever since. There is a reason why younger people have higher insurance. It sucks to get a ticket but think about it. You did deserve it. Tickets cost alot to make up for all the times they havent caught you speeding. Think of what it would be like to get a ticket every time you go over the limit.
