sanden compressors?

hey whats the deal with the sanden 708 compressors? thats just the ac compressor right?

why are they so popular? does everyone just want ac or is there sumthin special about the particular model or? i see people are always askin for them on here

people use them as an engine driven compressor (edc) for airride. super fast fill rates

now does it not keep pumpin air? does it have a pressure switch like you would use on a reg. air compressor?

Yes, and the pressure switch disengages the clutch on the compressor.

only draw back on an edc is having to oil it, and drain your water traps all the time.

^ very true, but compared to hearing the whineing sound of a electric compressor you cant beat it at all.

I will be running one soon, but I will keep one of my 450s for backup.

I can't hear my compressor when its running. So quiet. However my AZ was ungodly loud and gave the truck a death shake.
