dont flame me...this is the first ive done in 20 years with a stick welder ...how am i doin

they dont look bad at all, how well did you penetrate, flip the plate and let us see the bottom

its 1/4th inch plate penatraiton is abouth an 1/8th nice coloring on bottom of the plate but its thick stuff man

Thats pretty good for stick. Stick generally looks sloppy.

The bead looks pretty good to me but i dont know much about stick welding either ive just TIG welded in school for 6 weeks, and i MIG welded with my dad when i was 7 lolz

you have 1/8" penetration thru the 1/4" plate!?!?! holy fuck!
