bought my wife a puppy for christmas

I GOT MY G/F A MINATURE PINSCHER @ END OF LAST MARCH, SHE WILL BE A YEAR OLD FEB 10. I DIDN'T DOCK HER EARS, BUT HER TAIL IS. LOOKS JUST LIKE A FULL SIZE DOBERMAN. 9 1/2" LBS OF WIDE OPEN ENERGY. BOUT 85 % HOUSE TRAINED ON PUPPY PADS, AND YEAH, IF SHE CATCHES A CHANCE AND A DOOR GETS LEFT OPEN, ITS OFF TO THE RACES! SHE BOUNCES AROUND LIKE A OVERGROWN JACK RABBIT ON STEROIDS, KINDA REMINDS ME OF MY BUDDIES SPRINGER SPANIEL THE WAY SHE BOUNCES AROUND. VERY JELOUS ALSO, IF I TRY TO LOVE UP TO THE G/F SHE WILL ACT LIKE A WEDGE AND BE RIGHT BETWEEN US!! WOULDN'T TRADE HER FOR THE WORLD THOUGH, DEF A MANS BEST FRIEND!!

We looked at those too but she really wanted a little lap dog. From what I have read that's all the shih tzu is good for. It seems like a poodle is the ultimate dog to have for some reason. Everyother dog we found online was bread with a poodle. We found cockapoo's yorkipoo's, cavapoo's maltipoo's and a couple others. Some were cute and others I was like why did they ever let those dogs hump each other. A only 6 weeks old out our puppy has found my wifes winney the poo slippers fun to hump. It's funny to watch since the slippers are bigger than he is.

He is soo cute. Will his hair get really long?

the hair will get long if they want it too, but most people have them groomed to keep them cleaner and less vulnerable to the elements (ie vacume cleaners) But Shih Tzu's were orriginally bred in China, after coming from the Tibetan “Lion Dogsâ€
