WRX wreck @ 120mph

I don't think they had to cut the car apart to get the driver out,they probably had to cut the driver apart to get him out....

My calc instructor in college did the exact same thing to his WRX, only he lived. Flipped it into some trees at over 100, 8-12 feet in the air. Waited he said 2 hours for someone to respond to his 911 call out in the middle of BFE KS. And the sheriff who did respond said "you are lucky" and gave him several hundred dollars worth of tickets. Hows that for irony?

Needless to say, he bought a Mazda GLC after that, due to the judgement on his 4 month old car, his higher insurance rates, and his poor driving record after the accident. His exact words: "I was trying to drive like the WRC guys, drifting corners. the tires grabbed traction for one breif second and the next I knew I was up in a tree".

Wow !!! Better him than me! Why do people insist on driving that fast if they do not know how to drive that fast?? Did anyone else see the pics of the tree?? Not as big as I thought it would be and its still standing strong just a little burnt!

gadamn! keep it low and slow. ive lost too many friends over this stupid fast and furious bullshit! i dont feel sorry for the kid, i feel sorry for the family that has to deal with it. 120mph, fuck!!!!! 80mph is the fastest my truck goes, im fine with that! rather drive it slow and live, than fast and die! why drive fast? no one can see your car, youre going too fast to see it. want ppl to notice you? take it slow so they can check you out.

^^ Speed is addictive bro. I had a Ninja ZX750R and ended up getting rid of it cuz I was too addicted to getting it up to 100 in less than 10secs all the time. I realized I was too stupid to own something that fast and was either going to kill myself or get a serious ticket.

People feel near invincible in cars and also at young ages. I remember every car I used to have when I was young I'd take out and see how fast it'd go. Did 130mph in a Mazda Protoge' with cut coils lol, it was like it was gliding I used to pass people all the time using the emergency lane on the interstates...all kinds of other stupid stuff. Drive drunk, etc, etc. It's only by the grace of God I am still alive

yeah man,I took my old Celica GTS up to 235kmh,and the speedo went up to 240. Redline in that car was 6700rpm and I was doing like 6400rpm in 5th. I've done over 200kmh many times,in that car and in my RX7.

I got a speeding ticket last year for doing 154kmh in a 100kmh zone. I was doing 160,and saw the cop sitting under the bridge and I hit the brakes and he clocked me at 154 and I just pulled over and he didn't even hit the lights,just pointed at me. He gave me the maximum speeding fine,which was 45 over,instead of a 30 day suspension,and I took it to court and had it reduced to 29 over. The fine also went from $360 to $114.

But yeah,I'm out of the sport compact/ricer/fast & furious crap now. I like my truck,and I'd rather be getting tickets for going too slow,rather than too fast,lol.
