Stereo stays on after turning truck off...

only recently has this started happening. I turn the truck off, takes the keys out, and the stereo stays on for about 10 seconds.

I have not changed anything on the truck (other than putting in a new ignition switch about 9 months ago). This started happening about 2 months ago. Nothing else stays on, or is weird like this. Any suggestions?

Do you have an electric fan on the truck? Sometimes the spinning fan will generate enough voltage to keep the relay for the accesories on for 5 to 10 seconds. I had this trouble on my Cadillac. The fix is a diode across the fan switch. But this is just a shot in the dark. Its hard to diagnose electrical problems over the internet...LOL...If not maybe your truck is possesed by the devil and you should consult a preist.

that's strange. I've only heard of that if it's an aftermarket radio and it's wired wrong,as I've done before.
