anyone done a walkthru ?

just curious if anyone has performed one?

i used to dream about having one done. looking back on it from what I remember from all my minitruckin mags it didn't seem all that difficult.

anyone done one and documented it?

maybe it's time to dig out all my ol mt mags... yep.. I still have them

Have done 3. 1 Mazda (mine) and 2 S-10's. Don't have progress pics, but can give some pointers. There are a couple pics in My Garage, but may not help.

look in my garage the red 86 nissan king cab was a walk through ..simple to do ...i sawsalled the shee metal where i wanted it then when to the local canopy dealer and bought enough accordian boot to seal it up...accordian boot simply presses on where you made your cuts strech it then do the same on the bed side i think i paid 50 buck for the accordian boot.......it looks just like what they use on accordian buses but smaller ...lol.......my new project mazda will be a walk through...illl post pics as i do it

acro.. care to elaborate on why you don't like it anymore?

my concerns with one has to do with how high the bottom of the bed is in comparison to the inside of the cab. anyone know if there is a huge step up?
I know that some trucks it's closer than others on. what about a back seat or seat belts... you guys ever use those back there?

there is def a difference in height between the cab floor and the bed floor. we just cut out some sheet metal and screwed it down on mine, then spread seam seal on top of it and it worked great.
