anyone have any suggestions on equipment to get? i know they say there is no replacement for free weights, but i would rather have everything all in one setup.....was looking into this:

Like you mention I'm one of those people who is a firm beliver in free weights. Thats being said if your dead set on something like that then I can't help you because I really have no idea about what to look for in machines and such.

You could save some money though and use one of the best weights of all just to get started. If your just getting into fitness and what not you can use your body weight for more than enough resistance. I have no idea about your background so I dont know what you know and what you don't know. I just tell a lot of people not to waste there money on equipment right away if they arn't positive they will be able to stick to a regular routine. If you would like more info shoot me a pm, or I'm sure some other people could help you out on here to.

IF you want an all in one for the home, and have been exercising all ready, I'd go with a Bow-Flex. I started to, but I go to the gym and don't have the room at home.

Heck, maybe look in to joining a gym for a bit till you know for sure you wanna invest in a gym at home.

i am an all free weights guy, but when i got to my max on bench it started to get old to go get my neighbor to spot me just so i could up my max, so i am looking into getting a bow-flex when i get my own house.
