online game play

duz anybody in here play games online for ps2 or xbox? i have a ps2 and have wondered how to go about it and if anyone on here plays? me and my roomate used to play online when i had my xbox but i havent tried since i got the ps2. if anybody plays what type of games do you play. i mostly play sport games.

i play on xbox live. the games i've been playing recently are Halo2 and Project Gotham Racing 3

I've been playing 1 game, and 1 game only for 2 yrs now online, Enemy Territory, which is fREE Before it I played Return to Castle Wolfenstien for about 2 yrs. ET is derrived from RTCW, so the move was natural.

I play for a clan, team, and have now for 3+ yrs.

In case you didn't know, these games are World War 2 based first person shooters.

Really, imo, consoles are a huge waste of money. The New PS is coming out at over $500! They say it's "High Definition Capable". Doesn't mean squat to me, as any pc gamer knows that it'll still be a while before consoles reach the graphics abilities of PC's....and pc's are upgradable for less than the newest console...and you can play all your old games if you want

Much, MUCH, better control with a mouse and keyboard vs. controler

better computer graphics is a given. a dog could have realized the big difference. it's all preference. some people just like other things.

i dont know about you but my new comp is running 850bones and my 360 was only 300. i don't personally care for mouse and keyboard. you have better control with that setup, and i have better control with a controller. Baha uses a keyboard/mouse setup for Halo2, its pretty cool.

yeah my comp was 1200 and ps2 was 300 and while the graphics are way the better i still prefer the controller over mouse and keyboard.

I have a PS2 Xbox Game cube and a 1200.00 water cooled pc i prefer the pc over all of them but consols do have there place and yes my computer cost more but i also do lots more with it lets see its a

and probly some more that i cant think of lol

FPS and third PS = computer
race games = consol

ps i play BF2, COD UO and COD2

Yeah for race games you gotta have a controller or wheel set up

Yep you can do lots more wit a pc that makes it worth a lot more

I know consoles have their place. Better to game with friends in person on, 2 v 2 or 4 v 4. Was mostly only speaking bout graphics and online gaming.

I got BF2, COD and COD UO as well. And UT 2004, and America's Army. I just can't get away from Enemy Territory cuz I have so many friends on there now and I like the controls and gameplay. lol I get tired of it and think I want something new, go out and buy something, play it a short bit, and always find myself back on ET

so do you play counterstrike?

I have them bouth but dont play them heck i would not have them but i got them free with my old video card when i got HL2
