hi guys,

i have got a 1989 2600 4x4, sometimes when driving there is a noise coming from the drive train, if i press the remote free wheeling hub switch the noise goes away, so i guess the hubs are trying to engage...so what is the best way to test the system for faults.

thanks from across the pond, and why did they put the steering wheel on the wrong side....

haha!

i had something like this on my ole yota, the front hubs started making noises, come to find out the wheel bearings needed more grease, somehow they had spun dry, and the hubs were trying to catch & engage...
if it is an auto engage, it may be some sorta vaccum issue...
