i was just wondering if anyone has had to replace the light bulbs in there gauge clusters. mine is a 1988 b2200. and i know they make replacement bulbs, but my questions are. what bulbs are they, stock numbers, and has anyone replaced them with leds?

i was thinking, since the lights are clear, and the guage part is black and, orange... if i install red leds behind it will light up red...

anyone?

okay i did this on my crx that i had. if the cluster is the same way then those lights are for your dummy lights and stuff. and there are main lights in the top of your cluster. there is a piece on top that you can take off and there is like an amber cover in there. take that out and replace it with red tint like for windows givin you your color. layer the tint until you get desired shade. need to look at mine to see if they are the same kind of setup.

sweet. thanks. i took the gauge out and its actually sitting next to me. the bulbs are #158 and the smaller ones are #74. ive been looking around for leds, the 158s are like 3.99 each and the small ones are 5.99 each. i counted. i think i need 5 each....

LEDs rock! Good choice. Even better, they come in colors.
