viair stop working

i bought my viair 380 in the begining of august and have only installed it not even a month (only ran about a dozen times and never have had the thermal switch come on). i checked all the wiring and the relay and its good. then i decided to put direct power to the compressor for a second but i got nothing no noise or anything. the thing i find weird is that my relay buzzes when i start the truck and stops if i wiggle the wires on it and this just happend today, it was working perfect before today. any ideas??

anyone have this happen to them??

sounds like a wiring issue. have you installed anything recently or pulled any wires on accident?

no i haven't played around with it ever since it was working. the other thing is that i put direct power to it that had 12volt runing through it because i checked with my meter and nothing happend.

sounds like you got a pop inside you have fried a wire send it to viair bro and let them fix it. I haven't had it happen to me but I have had a few people happen to them and it was fixed and with them covered under warranty just remember that there is copies of these compressors floating around and if you got one off those don't send it in as it will be confiscated by viair they are a little pissed off about it. But as for your compressor it does sound like a fried wire bro. Don't try and fix it your self as you have only had it for 3 months so it should be covered. Where did you get it.

i got it from airassited.com from kevin and im pretty sure its authentic. i never sent in that warrenty card that says send this within 10 days of purchase, is there still warenty on it even though i didn't send the card in??

Ya you actually bought it from ACC. altered altitude customs. The airasisted.com is there americian base store which still runs out of the ontario location more or less it's just a drop point to buy through. Phone them direct bro and tell them whats up and make sure you talk with Kevin. I myself haven't dealt with them in awhile but he is the one to talk to.I myself have been dealing direct with them and have had no problems. Oh if you don't mind how much did you pay for it before shipping.

ya i got it through the website but it came from altered altitude customs and have spoken with kevin on the phone once but have emailed him a whole bunch and he seems like a very decent guy. i bought the compressor with a air management kit and on one of the recepts it says the unit price and net price is $147.50 but i don't know if thats us $ or canadian.

ya thats US price did the reciept have airasist on it or ACC.

it said at the top lowrider depot and then for bill it said altered altitude customs
