GOD BLESS AMERICA!! In this time and at all times we need to thank our Lord that we still live in a free country. I am SOO proud to live in the land of the free and to be an American.

how many of you guys remember what you were doing when this happened. i do. i was in california training just getting ready to leave and this happened. someone told us about it while we were out working on the helicopters and we were like whatever. it didn't really hit until we got back to camp and saw it on t.v. regardless of what you see on t.v. and in the papers, the day it happened i had friends in afghanistan kicking ass. not to long after that i was on my way over to iraq. i remember that day like it was yesterday. and if none of you have been to ground zero....it is a site you will never forget. there is a memorial there that the public is not allowed to see, it is strictly for military, police, and fire department members. i have some pictures somewhere. anyways...i hope all of those motherfu***** involved die a slow painful death.

i was in the United States Marine Corps. now i work for the army as a civilian. i still have a lot of friends still in and over in iraq right now. i have been out for 2 years, but i think about going back in everyday. the only thing that keeps me from going back in is my 3 beautiful little girls. i had to leave them when i went the first time and let me tell you that shit is HARD!
