got heisman?

anyone seen all this stuff about reggie bush loosing his heisman & usc loosing at least one of the two national championships on yahoo????

that sucks, never been a fan of Reggie Bush anyway, and USC for that matter.

what exactly was the reason behind it?

marketing companies and other supporters of USC gave money to his family for all kinds of differant things. they said it might amount up to $100,000.
my guess is that he wont lose the heisman. but who knows whats going to happen.

so how does this make him lose the heisman?

i don't quite understand. why would money given to his family affect his football achievements and such

NCAA rules dont allow any kind of money to be earned for playing football other than scholorships from the college they play for. so by his family recieveing th emoeny, it it expected reggie was benefitting from this also.

bush might loose 2 years of his eligibility & usc might have 2 years of their record wiped out for having an uneligible player.....

that's a big blow

the worst part usc is likely going to have to forfit those two season because of one guy being greedy.........but the coaches didn't do anything to stop it either......
