Lately I have been looking at the idea of doing some wheel design and hopefully either selling my designs, or my services to companies that would like to produce them.

And herin lies the question....what would the minitrucking public like to see in new wheel designs.

Unfortunately high offset 6 bolt wheels will not be an option at this point as most companies want something that will have mass market appeal. But like ehat kinda designs or design features would you all like to see. what direction would you all like to see custom wheels going in.

Well depending on the styling quo's of the wheels a high offset 6 lug would be a very marketable.. cause were not only talking about mazdas, but nissans and isuzu's as well. To be honnest you will never get a straightup answer from anyone because there are so many ways to design a truck with so many wheel options that you should just do what you do best.. get some solid ideas down and see what kind of feed back you get. Cause some guys want bling bling big wheels.. others want a 5 spoke and some just want some 22in steelies.

Yeah I have a billet wheels designed to look like a steelie with a simulated moon cap and everything...and I have designed all of my designs in high offset with a big enough dish for a 6 bolt....JUST IN CASE

Couple more ideas floating around my head...some smaller ideas....

Billet door lock knobs for the inside...as well billet interior door handles....

and a billet dash, not an overlay but the whole areas around the steering wheel...and it would be set up to run the stereo up top...with the pocket cut the right size from the get go...no cutting or grinding bs..

Yes,I love the interior ideas.

I'm doing all billet accessories in mine,so all that stuff would just finish it.

Like Mike said, people have different tastes.

But if you want to cater to billet lovers, I'd have to say you can't go wrong with a clean, simple wheel. Those are always what looks good no matter what. 5-6-7-99spoke, you can all make them sleek and stylish.

a little off subject, but if you have machining skillz, a true aftermarket cam would be nice, not a reground original...they tend to wear or break......
