well, i tried my hand at fiberglassin. i took my radio bezel, wrapped it witha t-shirt.. painted on some resin, let that dry, took some chopped up glass and painted that on the backside of it for some strenght.. a coat of bondo and its almost done, i need to go pick up some filler primer and some higher grit sand paper to really finish it off nice... but for my first time, i think it turned out great. if i can smooth this out good, ill probably go nuts in the interior with glass.

NICE TAPE DECK DELA, lol....Looks Great man, how'd you make the t-shirt stick to the back on the plastic bezel?

old school baby! you cant be old school with a cd player!... its still a detachable face so.. it makes it ok.. lol

i just took super glue and glued it to the back, i ran a bead around, pulled the shirt to it and just went all the way around like that making sure the shirt was tight, no wrinkles or anything... let the glue setup, then resin the shit out of it... just make sure you dont use a 100% cotton shirt, it will shrink up... try a 50% poly and cotton or somthing..

I dont think you have to worry about removing the face. No one will want it!

just kidding man The fiberglass job looks great. You dont need all the heater controls and stuff though?

My Mazdas too much of a daily driver for that but I might take my S-10 dash and smooth it completely out like that since I lost my heat and AC in the body drop process
