Started a new job tonight!

Yup.. i finally quit my old job (altho i work there 2 nights a week to keep my insurance). I was waiting tables at a restaurant here in town, but just scored big as a bartender at a hotel bar. Its not all that great of a bar, except for the fact that i get crazy tips there and the experience to go to a mainstream bar downtown in the future. I'm stoked!

sounds sweet, mark is right, bartenders can make some serious jack....if you take care of your customers, they will take care of you....me & some of my friends used to frequent this certain resturant because the bartender always hooked us up, example, he'd charge us for one drink & give us three or more, but we would always tip him very well....good luck my man!

so those drinks weren't really free,lol


Congrats on the new job. I'm waiting out my current job till a possible layoff that's coming,and planning to get my forklift licence.

well this is just a college career to pay for my bills while i go to school... and the way things are going so far i shouldn't be working too much.

do you get free hotel rooms??

not free.. but their 25 bux a night anywhere I go. As long as its not a special event (so no superbowl rooms) or things like that. If they are expecting the hotel to sell out then they won't book me.. but other than that i'm set.
