lol...so I was driving to work today

This really made me laugh today...infact,I've been laughing at it all night,just because it was so random and unexpected.

I was driving my truck to work,and now with my chromies on it,the thing is pretty damn low. Anyways,I'm just cruising down the main drag just before I start to come into the town,and I see this black Yukon approaching in the opposite direction. So I'm just leisurely cruising along with the radio on and I look over at the Yukon as it's getting closer and the driver's window starts to roll down and this big guy leans out the window and gives me the horns gesture with a big grin on his face. it kinda happened so fast,I was laughing before I could even think "wtf?" ...but it made me laugh pretty good.

I mean,I've driven a bunch of done up cars,but none have ever gotten as much attention as my truck is getting. It's actually a little embarassing,I feel like I'm driving around in a fish bowl all the time with people pointing and looking and staring and stuff.

Like a few weeks ago I was on the freeway and this Volvo wagon passes me and there's 2 kids in the back seat with their faces glued to the window staring and waving at me as they passed,lol.

I just thought that was pretty funny,completely out of the blue,guy just leaning out his window giving me the horns and going "wooo!" lol I think what took me more by surprise is because it snowed pretty heavily today and the roads were crap and my truck was covered in snow and slush.

You think people stare at you, picture driving this 2 inches off the ground, 200 Kilometers a day....then you can tell me about people staring at you...LOL

haha,yeah I can imagine. That would most definetly turn heads.

It feels more awkward for me because my truck is primered and rusty and need a lot of body TLC. I do about 150km a day to work and back,and it's all highway.

i get looks all the time too Its the reason I like minis they stand out from the norm and when I see another one on the streets a throw a hand out and wave sometimes i get one back and the others well they can chear up and realize were one big family were Mini truckers

I got a primered PINK Mazda....I get looks..Its fun

yeah,we do stand out in a crowd that's for sure.

I've had everything from stupid highschool kids walking down the street flip me off for no reason as I pass by,to people like the guy in the Yukon leanng out the window giving me the horns and cheering,lol.

when Im stopped at lights I always get the hand gesture to bounce it or thumbs up or they pull up next to me and as WHAT IS IT?
It will get more attention once I put the 302 in there with a free flowing exhaust no cats gota love florida and thier no inspections WOOT!

yea i'm also always getting looks ridin an 1" off the ground with the 351 and no cats with flowmasters, sometimes its from the po's though and thats not always good,lol

I have neon orange tinited primer for my truck. lol... I imagine it will get some looks when its sprayed.
