So I sell a complete kit to 2 different people and in the end they are both pieces of shit. I give them a great deal and even offer to help install they're air ride in they're trucks with the stipulation that they replace what material they use and pay me a little monies for my time. The first guy after watching me all week end put the front steel in and part of the 4 link decides to tell me how to install his step notch in his truck I tell him that he only needs a small c notch and that I will keep the 10 notch and get him the c notch that he needs the next weekend I get busy with crazeymickey putting in his roll pan so I go down the next weekend and what do I find that dumb ass and his brother have welded in the step notch and now the truck sits to low in the back and that he didn't box his frame so now his frame is all twisted and tells me that it's my fault because I didn't make it clear to box the frame and I owe him to fix it. The next guy makes me a deal on that blazer for helping him install his air ride and his wife says that I am trying to screw him out of the truck and I should install the equipment with him as part of the price. What am I doing wrong should I become one of these guys that just stops trying to help people save some money and just charge them to install the stuff or just say here's your stuff go install it yourself. I love working on trucks and seeing the guys face when the project is done and making new friends but damn what do you do. I guess I'm just venting oh I do have a c-notch up for grabs that I will never use.

honestly sometimes i feel just like you. i help everyone and their grannies with their cars, and in the end i get screwed over. I did my friends brakes and 3 months later when his proportioning valve fails its all of a sudden my fault because of a pad and rotor change. I just dont bother helping anyone anymore. you say you have a 10'' step notch? name your price ill take it.

dude it's a c-notch I have up for grabs the dumb ass wasted the 10" step notch on his truck all he needed was a 3" c- notch and whats worse is that 4 1/2 inches of the 10" notch is sitting on the floor of his garage.

Sounds harsh but in this world today were all most everyone is looking to take everyone to court cant be to careful.

What I think is that some people just don't get it.

And I agree with hoc. You can't fix stupid.

You forgot to mention about the velcro balls though.

Thats stupid that people do that crap...they need to open up thier eyes and be greatful you even offered...i want to know what is going through your head to blame someone that is helping you....thats like blaming the fire department for putting out a fire and wanting them to pay for all the crap that got burned

and not that it matters or anything but its Ron White that says you cant fix stupid....white or brown still a color though
