so a funny thing happened to day... kinda

...so i was on my way down the driveway and my dogs jumps off the porch. so i kinda hit the gas instead of the brake.... yea, drove the garage door in about a foot. buckled a few of the hinges, some of the wheels came off track...


i was flipping out. i just knew my dad was gonna flip his lid... well soon he got home and all he said was "at least it wasnt the dog. and home owners insurance covers it"

and at least the camaro wasnt in there.... that would cause me to cry. no damage to the mazda tho...


damn...... and i was having the best day ever...

danm if I did that at my garage the guys wife would have a shit fit . Like she did when he smashed his door in. Funny thing is all he said was now he can get the new remote door opener for his new door and he laughed like hell.

....dad called the insurance company. the garage door is 16 ft wide x 7 ft tall. replacement price is about $1800. I only gotta pay $250 deductable.... thank God for homeowners insurance.

That's better than losing your pet or taking care of him. Glad it was a door instead.

update.... the insurance wanted a $250 deductable and was only gonna give us $500... wtf is the point of the claim then. they supposed to cover the cost of the door...$1800... f*ckin insurance azz holes.

sorry i didnt answer that before. somehow i missed the post, but yea i was wondering the same thing. the truck is fine other then a little blue paint from the garage door on the drivers side corner light and some on the tip of the hood and the bumper. luckily the truck body is being, worked on. and i havent messed with it yet but the paint should wash right off the headlight. (which will be replaced soon)
